Economical and environmentally friendly
Heat pumps are an economical and environmentally friendly heating technology that use the heat the sun leaves behind in the air, soil or water.
Heat pumps are named for the way in which they collect and release energy. Air-to-water heat pumps make use of the heat in outdoor air. All of our heat pumps are used to produce both domestic hot water and hot water for heating the house. Hot water is led through pipes from the system tank to provide heat for radiators and under floor heating, etc.
High COP value
Heat pumps generate heat from the temperature difference in its refrigerant which evaporates and condenses in a process that switches the refrigerant's state from liquid to gas and then back to liquid again. The efficiency of heat pumps is measured in COP (coefficient of performance). The higher, the better. Cops 3 means that a heat pump produces three units of heat for every unit of electricity used.
Which heat pump should you choose?
The various types of heat pump all have different strengths and weaknesses and may be more or less suitable depending on your specific conditions and needs. Most people benefit most from an air-to-water heat pump. Many get the very best efficiency by using a flexible heating system with a system tank that can combine the heat pump. It's always a good idea to talk to us before making your choice, so we can give you the best advice based on your needs.
We supply various manufacturer heat pumps and the different sizes available and styles are endless. We design fully bespoke packages to each customers individual needs.
